Volunteer Positions

Mary Ann Latsaras - Building and Grounds Manager - Resident Artist - Community Caretaker & Residential Holistic Mediator

Mary Ann is our Building & Grounds Manager, with 30+ years of experience in trades work, she oversees & coordinates the maintenance of the building & landscaping of the church since late 2019. She spearheaded the renovations of our downstairs Fellowship Hall from the flooding in May of 2020, redesigned the kitchen space, custom mixed paint colors, hand painted the bathrooms, decorated the space; went on to renovate the upstairs Sanctuary & re-landscaped all the gardens around the Church completing the work by October 2022. In the summer of 2023 new roofing & siding will be completed.

As our Resident Artist, Mary Ann has hand painted 22’ dia. Prayer Labyrinth that graces the floor of our Sanctuary and painted the inside niché behind the altar, reminiscent of a Raphael-type cloud scene. She has tactfully graced the outside of the Church building with the symbolic LGBTQ Rainbow Colors & insists that its messaging defines much more. “The rainbow serves as a reminder of God’s promise to mankind – an unbreakable bond between the Creator and creation. The saved & unsaved; It’s a representation of God’s promise to us all, ever loving & ever present.”

A Community Caretaker & Residential Holistic Mediator, Mary Ann also serves Meditation Classes every two weeks, teaching Life/Coping Skills, runs Spiritual Painting Workshops & is available to talk to for those in crisis.
